Ivonne A. Simms (Atlanta,GA)

Program Manager for the Southeast Region, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education from Boston University and her Masters of Science in Higher Education Administration from Bernard M. Baruch College.  With a strong commitment to excellence and equity in education, Ivonne has used her skills and talents to enable people of all ages to make the most of their educational opportunities.  She has over eight years of experience in education, including teaching math to junior high school students, facilitating the college application process for first generation college students through a talent search program at York College, and teaching freshman seminars and serving as an academic advisor at Bronx Community College.   Before relocating to Atlanta, GA, Ivonne most recently served as Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions & Student Services at Baruch College School of Public Affairs (CUNY), where her work allowed hundreds of students to make positive contributions in education, government and not-for-profit organizations.
