On Friday, June 1, 2012, The A Better Chance Awards took place at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City, where friends and family of the organization recognized a group of outstanding Scholars from around the country. These Scholars, ranging from grades 6-12, were awarded for their academic excellence, leadership within their school community, and steadfast determination to succeed.
