Christopher Dennis (Los Angeles, CA)

Program Manager for the Southwest Region, received a BA degree in Kinesiology and an MA degree in Organizational Management from Concordia University, St Paul.   The Southern California native is a member of the Moreno Valley Black Chamber of Commerce and the Los Angeles chapter of the National Black MBA Association. He finds his greatest strengths in advocacy and motivation for equity in education.  As an Urban Education Summer Scholar and supervisor for the Student of Color Mentoring Program, Chris focused on the resiliency of urban learners to maximize their full potential.  He spent time coaching and recruiting at the NCAA Division I & II levels as well as an adjunct instructor at Riverside Community College as part of the Faculty Internship Project.  Most recently Chris worked at the University of California, Riverside as an Undergraduate Recruitment Counselor and International Specialist where he also obtained an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration and Policy.
