Every year, A Better Chance recognizes its top Scholars and honors leaders in the community who are committed to promoting education and diversity.

This year, The 50th Anniversary A Better Chance Awards will take place on Tuesday, June 11 from 6-10 p.m. at Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers in New York City. We will be honoring Roger W. Ferguson, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of TIAA-CREF, with the Chairman's Award and Alumnus Theo Killion (The Hill School, 1970), Chief Executive Officer of Zale Corporation, with the DreamBuilder Award. We will also be saluting our 2013 A Better Chance Scholars and recognizing those who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a steadfast determination to succeed. We will also recognize our first 16 partner schools with Legacy Awards (full list below).
