Cynthia Housel (Oakland, CA)

Cynthia has dedicated over 16 years to supporting or leading the fundraising efforts of non-profit organizations in Los Angeles and San Francisco.  She most recently served as the Director of Development for YMCA of San Francisco, Chinatown Branch.  In that role, she helped to complete a $20 million capital campaign, wrote grant proposals, organized cultivation and stewardship events, and led their Annual Giving Campaign.  Cynthia also served as the Campaign Manager for the California Academy of Sciences’ $392 million capital campaign (which eventually rose to $470 million,) Associate Director of Development for the Fort Mason Foundation (a National Historic Landmark,) and Campaign Director and Director of Individual Giving for San Francisco Parks Trust.
