Dear Friends of A Better Chance,

Since 1963, it has been A Better Chance’s mission to create a cadre of diverse leaders, capable of serving at the highest levels with confidence, preparation, and a network of supportive peers behind them. Today, over 16,000 of our Alumni are, or are becoming, the leaders that our world needs. Every day, we see the world becoming a better place due to their hard work to forge the future.

In our effort to continue to connect with Scholars, Alumni, and friends, we recently launched this new website to help tell our remarkable story, and to demonstrate some of the outstanding achievements that have defined the lives touched by A Better Chance.  We hope you enjoy learning more about them - and us - through its pages.

The need for diversity in leadership is greater than ever. Gaps in academic achievement based on race continue. Many students of color are unable to realize their full potential because they lack access to quality educational experiences. This lack of educational access results in an inadequate pipeline of diverse leaders needed at the helm of our society. A Better Chance's work has never been more needed as a significant contributor to the pool of leaders of color who can compete effectively in schools, colleges, and the workplace. With your help, we can work towards closing the gap for good.

I hope you will take the opportunity to learn even more about us and how, together, we can help committed young people of color become future leaders for positive change in global society.
