Join A Better Chance's National Advisory Council on September 18 at Taj II Lounge from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and recognize the talent and achievements of our exceptional young Alumni and friends of A Better Chance. 2019 Rising Stars New York will bring together the best and the brightest of our vast Alumni community for a celebration of progress in creating new paths for people of color in America. The event is open to friends of A Better Chance, corporate partners, parents and other members of the community. You do not need to be an Alumni to attend, we welcome everyone to join us in celebration.
Join A Better Chance and the Atlanta Regional Alumni Committee for the inaugural Rising Stars Awards Atlanta event on October 2 at The Gathering Spot from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM The event looks to bring together Atlanta community members, A Better Chance Alumni, Corporate Partners and friends for a night celebrating A Better Chance's mission and honoring trailblazing leaders of color. The event will feature a DJ and attendees will be treated to hors d'oeuvres, beer and wine. You do not need to be an A Better Chance Alum to attend, all are welcome to join us in celebration and recognition.
Our Program Team Members from around the country come off the road a week in October to gather in our New York Headquarters. The most important reason for their convening is to review the pool of applicants and discuss potential placement opportunities nationwide. This passionate team of 16 works all year long to successfully place around 500 Scholars in our nation’s top preparatory schools. We invite you to come meet the skilled professionals who make that possible and learn more about A Better Chances goals for the upcoming years.

Mark DeCambre, Editor at MarketWatch (and a 1992 Alumnus of Simsbury A Better Chance), led the panelists in a lively conversation.
