A Better Chance partners with over 300 college preparatory schools across the nation.
These schools must meet certain requirements for commitment to diversity, financial aid allocation, academic excellence and personal and social growth and be approved by A Better Chance’s Board of Directors.
A Better Chance Partners with 3 types of schools
Independent Day
SchoolsScholars live at home and commute to independent school for classes & school activities.
Independent Boarding SchoolsScholars live away from home in a campus dormitory and attend classes on campus.
Community Schools Programs
Scholars attending A Better Chance Community Schools live away from their home in a suburban community with an excellent public school system. Typically, 5 to 12 Scholars reside in a house, supervised by resident directors and tutors, and attend the local public high school, which is ranked among the most competitive in the country.
